Introduction

BBC iD is the BBC's sign in system.

It's how we know it's you when you visit.

You don't need to have a BBC iD to use BBC Online, but things get better if you do.

Your account lets you comment, add favourites, play games, write reviews, save recipes, and - in the future - lots more.

If you're signed in, we can give you your own personal view of the BBC, by remembering the things you've told us.

We can also make sure that your view of the BBC is joined up between different parts of the site, whether you're on your desktop, laptop, mobile or tablet. For example, the things you do in iPlayer Radio on one computer will still be there if you go to the mobile version on your phone.

Remember You have complete control over any information you provide. You can delete or make changes to your account whenever you like.
